Whether you're filing traditionally with us or starting your return through our TaxWise® Mobile App, be sure to use this simplified checklist to gather the essentials before your session:  


Personal Information:


  • Social Security numbers (you, spouse, dependents)
  • Driver’s license or state ID
  • Income Documents
  • W-2s from employers
  • 1099s (freelance work, interest, dividends, unemployment, etc.)
  • Investment income (dividends, stock sales)
  • Rental property income and expenses Childcare costs (with provider’s name, address, and tax ID)

For Self-Employed & Independent Contractors:

Terms & Condtions


Eligibility

The referral program is open to new and existing clients of My Tax Guy Online.


Referred individuals must be new clients who have not previously used My Tax Guy Online’s tax preparation services.


Referral Rewards

For each successful referral:

  • The referring client will receive $25 as a referral reward.
  • The referred client will receive $15 off their tax preparation fee.

A referral is considered successful when:

  • The referred client completes their tax preparation service and pays in full.
  • The referral details (including the referring client’s name) are provided at the time of booking or payment.

Reward Distribution

The $25 referral reward will be paid out to the referring client via:

  • Check, Zelle, or another mutually agreed-upon method, within 14 days of the referred client’s payment.
  • The $15 discount will be applied directly to the referred client’s tax preparation fee.

Limitations

  • There is no limit to the number of referrals a client can make.
  • Referrals cannot be self-directed (e.g., referring oneself under a different name).
  • This offer cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts unless explicitly stated.

Additional Conditions

  • My Tax Guy Online reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all referrals and participants in the program.
  • My Tax Guy Online reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice.
  • Fraudulent or abusive practices, including but not limited to false referrals, will result in disqualification from the program and potential legal action.
